An Island Paradise, Exclusive for Your Group

Typically sold as individual cabanas for couples looking for a small island all-inclusive, the 18 cabanas on Coco Plum Cay can also be reserved as a whole island rental. If your group is large enough, the owner’s overwater villa is also included, for a total occupancy of 42 guests.

Upon arrival, charismatic bartender “Swervin Ervin” welcomes you with his signature drink, a Mosquito Bite, and sets the tone for a week of total pampering with every need anticipated by the gracious staff.

Customer Service Manager Alex shows you to your beachfront cabana, informing you that anything  you need can be provided – if they don’t have it on the island, it can be brought from the mainland in just a few hours.

And he delivers. My sister asked for her bed to be made firmer by adding a board between the mattress and box spring. Within a few hours, she returned from swimming to find her bed had been remade already with a firm mattress they had brought in from the mainland. She slept like a baby all week.

This level of service continues throughout your stay. Each beachfront cabana is well-appointed and kept immaculately clean. The sugar white sand is groomed daily, and every window is kept pristine for soaking in the views of turquoise water.

Having the whole island for your group is a special treat. There’s never a wait for a lounge chair, kayak, or seat at the bar, and everywhere you go, you run into your favorite people!

The food is excellent. Everyone falls in love with Chef Jude as she does an amazing job pleasing all palates with a variety of Belizean, American and International dishes throughout the week.

This 16 acre paradise feels so special and exotic, yet it’s only 8 miles from the mainland, so jungle tours are also included in the whole island rental. I highly recommend the zip-lining /cave tubing adventure and the visit to Xunantunich ruins – the only Mayan ruins you can climb to the top and see all the way to Guatemala.

Anyone can take a birthday party or family reunion group to an all-inclusive resort, but how many people can say they’re taking their friends and family to a private island?

As a group travel expert, one of my specialties is crafting experiences that are truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunities – whole castle rentals, private yacht charters, or a week on your own exclusive island. With pricing split between 20 – 40 people, and payment plans available over 18-24 months, these incredible group getaways are accessible to everyone.

There’s only one problem with the once-in-a-lifetime island rental at Coco Plum Cay: it was so incredible, this group has already decided to go back in four years. Is a twice-in-a-lifetime opportunity just as special? Yes…  I think so.
